2020/12/16 MAX will implement several changes regarding Two-Factor Authentication

To optimize your account security, MAX will implement changes regarding Two-Factor Authentication, major changes are listed below:

1. When adding new withdrawal addresses and changing/resetting a password, two-factor authentication will be required in order to protect address information and login passwords against tampering.

2. Account login will also require two-factor authentication via the selected authentication method.

  • If you previously enabled SMS verification and Google Authenticator at the same time, Google Authenticator will be the default authentication method automatically. You can log into your account and visit "Security Settings" to modify the default authentication method to SMS.
  • Please check whether your Google Authenticator remains active before 12/23. If you are unable to apply Google Authenticator due to a mobile phone change or other reasons, please contact customer service.

Reminder: In order to secure your account assets, withdrawals will be temporarily unavailable for 24 hours after modifying authentication method.
