2026/02/02 [Security Update] Enhanced Verification for EVM Token Withdrawal Addresses

Dear MAX Users,

To further ensure the security of your assets and prevent loss due to incorrect address entry, MAX is upgrading the withdrawal address verification mechanism for EVM-compatible chains (such as Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, etc.).

In blockchain transactions, mistakenly transferring a token back to its own "Token Contract Address" results in the funds being permanently locked and unrecoverable.

  • New Validation: From Feb 5, 2026, the system will automatically detect if a new withdrawal address matches the token's contract address. If a match is found, an error will be displayed, and the addition will be blocked.
  • Data Cleanup: To prevent accidental use, starting from Feb 5, 2026, the system will remove token contract addresses from user withdrawal address lists.

We strongly advise you to double-check that your destination address is a valid personal wallet or exchange deposit address before withdrawing.
