Withdrawal locking period FAQ

The withdrawal locking periodis an advanced security feature designed to protect your assets.

Here is a detailed FAQ regarding this feature:

Q:What is withdrawal locking period ? What are the benefits of enabling it?
A:This is an additional security lock feature designed to enhance your asset security. Once enabled, any newly added withdrawal address must wait for a 24-hour locking period to end before it can be used for withdrawals or internal transfers. This effectively prevents the risk of rapid withdrawals if your account is compromised.

Q:How long is the locking period? Can I choose the duration myself?
A:The locking period is fixed at 24 hours. Users cannot change it to a different duration.

Q:How do I enable withdrawal locking period
A:Please log in to your account > Pfofile> Withdrawal locking period > Select "Enable" and complete the two-step verification to activate the feature immediately.

Q:After enabling it, will my previously saved withdrawal addresses be affected?
A:No. This feature only applies to new addresses added after activation. Your existing, previously saved addresses can be used as usual.

Q:I just added a new withdrawal address. When can I start using it?
A:Any new address will automatically enter a 24-hour locking period upon being added. You must wait for this period to end before the address becomes active and can be selected for use.

Q:During the locking period, how will the new address be displayed on the withdrawal page?
A:During the locking period, the address will be unselectable in the withdrawal dropdown menu, it may show as "Pending Activation." At the same time, your address management list will clearly display the exact "activation time" for that address.

Q:Does this protection cover internal transfers?
A:Yes. This feature controls both withdrawals to external addresses and internal transfers. The new address must wait for the locking period to end before it can be used for any transaction.

Q:If I realize I added a wrong address during the locking period, can I delete it?
A:Yes. You can delete the address at any time during the 24-hour locking/protection period.

Q:How do I disable withdrawal locking period ? Will it take effect immediately after disabling?
A:You will need to input your Email verification code + 2FA code, and then you must wait for another 24-hour period to end before the feature is officially disabled.

Q:During the 24-hour waiting period for the disabling to take effect, if I add a new address, will it still be locked?
A:Yes. Before the disabling setting officially takes effect, any newly added address will still be subject to the original 24-hour locking period. This period will not be altered.

Q:Adding a new address or disabling the feature both require a 24-hour wait. Can these actions be canceled during this period?
A:No. To ensure the integrity of this security mechanism, once an "add address" or "disable feature" action is initiated, it must complete the 24-hour waiting period and cannot be canceled.
