What is MaiCoin One?
MaiCoin One is a unified account type. With a MaiCoin One account, you can sign in and use both the MaiCoin and MAX platforms with the same account and password, eliminating the need for separate registrations.
Benefits of using a MaiCoin One account:
- Single account, dual platform services
You only need to sign up once to access the full features and services of both MaiCoin and MAX platforms. - Synchronized trading privileges
Once you complete Level 1 identity verification, you will have Level 1 trading privileges on both MaiCoin and MAX platforms.
How to get a MaiCoin One account:
- If your email has never been registered on MaiCoin or MAX, starting January 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Taiwan Time), any account registered with that email will automatically become a MaiCoin One account.
- If your email was previously registered with MaiCoin, registering with the same email on MAX will not create a MaiCoin One account.
- If your email was previously registered with MAX, registering with the same email on MaiCoin will not create a MaiCoin One account.
How to check if your account is a MaiCoin One account:
Sign in to the MaiCoin or MAX app and check if the MaiCoin One badge icon is displayed:
- MaiCoin: Open the app > Go to "Profile."
- MAX: Open the app > Go to "Profile."
If the badge icon is not visible, your account is not a MaiCoin One account.
Identity Verification
Can I use my MaiCoin One account on both MaiCoin and MAX after completing account verification?
Yes! Once your account verification is complete, you can sign in to both MaiCoin and MAX with the same account and enjoy Level 1 trading privileges.
Verification Levels and Privileges:
- Level 1 Verification:
- Completing identity verification on either MaiCoin or MAX grants you Level 1 trading privileges on both platforms.
- Level 2 Verification:
- You must submit your bank account information separately for verification on both MaiCoin and MAX to engage in Level 2 transactions.
- For Level 2, you need to verify your bank account and bind your personal bank account to the trust account.
- Since MaiCoin and MAX have different trust accounts, the verification process for each platform is independent and must be completed separately.
- You can choose to submit your Level 2 verification for both platforms sequentially or simultaneously, based on your needs.
How to complete pending verifications:
If you have submitted partial identity verification information on MaiCoin or MAX, you must return to the original platform to complete the process.
For example:
- If you submitted the front side of your ID card on MaiCoin, you must continue submitting the remaining information on MaiCoin until verification is complete.
- If you try to continue submitting information on MAX, the app will display a reminder with relevant instructions.
Bank Account
Do I need to bind the same bank account on MaiCoin and MAX?
No, the bank accounts do not need to be the same. You can bind the same or different bank accounts, but they must be under your name.
Will changing the bound bank account on MAX automatically update it on MaiCoin?
No, the bound bank accounts on MaiCoin and MAX are managed independently. If you wish to update the bank account on both platforms, you must submit separate requests to each platform.
Account Settings
Settings shared across MaiCoin and MAX for MaiCoin One accounts:
- Account and password
- Two-factor authentication settings
- Changes will temporarily suspend withdrawals on both MaiCoin and MAX for 24 hours
- Mobile number settings
- Invoice carrier settings
- Level 1 identity verification details, status, and trading privileges
- Personal information, such as industry, income, and address
Settings managed independently on MaiCoin and MAX for MaiCoin One accounts:
- Wallets
- MaiCoin and MAX have separate wallets.
- Free inter-platform transfer service is available.
- Fiat deposit accounts
- Crypto receiving addresses
- Bank verification
- Information, verification status, and trading privileges for TWD or USD bank accounts
- Transactions and limits
- Includes trading limits, VIP levels, deposit/withdrawal limits, and trading restrictions

- Device security verification
- To ensure security, you must separately pass device security verification on MaiCoin and MAX when logging in for the first time on a new device or browser.

Referring Others to Register
- Sign in to the MAX platform to obtain your referral code or link, and share it with your friends.
- You can use the referral code to earn referral rewards, regardless of whether your account is a MaiCoin One account.
New User Registration
- MAX Referral Code:
- Use your friend’s referral link to register on MAX or enter the referral code during registration.
- After registration, your MaiCoin One account can be used on both MaiCoin and MAX, with exclusive benefits on MAX.
- MaiCoin Partnership Invitation Code:
- Enter the partnership invitation code when registering on MaiCoin.
- After registration, your MaiCoin One account can be used on both MaiCoin and MAX, with exclusive benefits on MaiCoin.
Other FAQs
Can I upgrade my existing MAX or MaiCoin account to a MaiCoin One account?
- Currently, upgrading is not available.
I already have a MAX account with completed identity verification and want to use MaiCoin.
- If your account is a MaiCoin One account:
- You can sign in to MaiCoin directly without registering again.
- If you register on MaiCoin using the same email as your MAX account (non-MaiCoin One):
- The new account will be a separate MaiCoin account, not a MaiCoin One account.
- If you register on MaiCoin using a different email:
- The new account will be a MaiCoin One account, usable on both MaiCoin and MAX.
- MaiCoin and MAX each allow only one Level 2 account per person. If your existing MAX account has completed Level 2 verification, the new account on MAX can only be upgraded to Level 1, while on MaiCoin, it can be upgraded to Level 2.
I already have separate MaiCoin and MAX accounts that are not MaiCoin One accounts. Will I be affected?
- Your accounts will remain independent, and your account privileges will not be affected. Please continue using them as usual.
- You can enjoy free inter-platform transfer services.
