  4. Are there any handling fees?
    • There are no additional handling fees.

Binding

  1. What do I need to prepare before binding?
    • You must have:
      • Must be a Taiwan citizen and at least 18 years old.
      • A MaiCoin Level 2 verified account
      • A LINE Bank account
      • The ID number, date of birth, and phone number associated with your MaiCoin and LINE Bank accounts must be identical for successful binding.
      • Please note:o use the LINE Bank direct debit service, both the "bank account linked for MaiCoin Level 2 verification" and the "account linked for direct debit" must be LINE Bank accounts.
  2. How to bind?
    • You can bind using MaiCoin App. Go to MaiCoin App > Profile > Payment Methods > Account binding and follow the instructions on the page. The binding process takes approximately 3 minutes.
  3. Can I use the service immediately?
    • Yes, you can use the LINE Bank account binding payment service on MaiCoin immediately after completing the binding process.

Please note:If the bank account linked for your MaiCoin Level 2 verification is not a LINE Bank account prior to setup, please allow approximately 2-4 working days for processing before the service can be used.

  1. How to unbind?
    • If you temporarily stop using the LINE Bank account binding payment service due to account changes or other reasons, you can unbind by going to MaiCoin App > Profile > Payment methods > LINE Bank. The unbinding will take effect immediately. You can rebind after unbinding.
  2. What if I cannot bind due to mismatched personal information?
    • Please make sure to use your own MaiCoin and LINE Bank accounts for binding. You cannot bind someone else's LINE Bank account. If the ID number and date of birth associated with your account are different because of changes or mistakes, please contact LINE Bank customer service for assistance.
    • If you have multiple phone numbers and cannot bind due to different phone numbers associated with your MaiCoin and LINE Bank accounts, you can change the phone number during the binding process. After passing phone number verification, you can continue with the binding process.

Using LINE Bank Account Binding Payment Service

  1. How to buy crypto?
    • After completing the account binding process, go to MaiCoin App > Market > Select the coin you wish to purchase > Buy.
    • Enter the quantity you wish to purchase and select LINE Bank Account Debit. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the transaction.
    • Once the deduction is successful, the order is completed. You can view your crypto balance and transaction history in the wallet.
  2. Is there a transaction limit?
    • The LINE Bank account payment service has the following limits:
      • Per transaction: up to $100,000 TWD
      • Monthly limit: $500,000 TWD (LINE Bank basic account) or $1,000,000 TWD (LINE Bank advanced account)
    • Due to privacy policies, you currently cannot view your used or available monthly limits within the MaiCoin App. To confirm your exact limits, please contact LINE Bank customer service.
  3. Why did the payment fail?
    • You can check the reason for failure in the App or the transaction history page. The common reasons for failure include:
  • Insufficient balance. Please make sure that LINE Bank main account has sufficient balance to complete the payment.
  • Exceeded limits. The transaction exceeds the single-transaction or monthly deduction limit.
  • Non- designated account transfer disable. The "non-designated account transfer" function is not enabled for your account. For exact details regarding a failed deduction, please contact LINE Bank customer service.
