What should I do if I'm not receiving the SMS verification code?

The following are common reasons why you might not be receiving the SMS verification code:

  • Poor mobile signal: Please move to a location with better reception and try requesting the code again.

  • Call/message blocking apps: If you have an app installed that blocks unknown numbers (e.g., Whoscall), please try disabling or uninstalling it before trying again.

  • Airplane or Do Not Disturb mode: Please ensure that both Airplane Mode and Do Not Disturb mode are turned off on your device.

  • "Block Commercial SMS" feature is enabled: Your phone number may have a feature that blocks texts from businesses. Please contact your telecom provider to inquire about and disable this function.

  • Insufficient phone storage: Please check if your phone has enough available storage space to receive new messages.

  • Daily limit exceeded: The platform has a daily limit of 20 SMS messages per user (this count includes messages that were not successfully received). If you have exceeded this limit, please try again after midnight (00:00).

  • Telecom provider issue: There may be a temporary issue with your provider's SMS service. Please contact your provider to confirm that their service is operating normally.

If you have checked all the above and are still unable to receive the code, please try the following steps:

  • Use mobile data only: Turn off your phone's Wi-Fi completely and try again using only your mobile data network.

  • Reset network connection: Turn on Airplane Mode, wait for 3 minutes, then turn it off and try again.

  • For iPhone users, restart iMessage: Go to Settings > Messages, then turn iMessage off and on again.

  • For iPhone users, check your blocked list: Go to Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts to ensure our number has not been accidentally added to the block list. If it is there, please remove it.

  • For Android users, clear your messaging app's cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Storage, then tap "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data", and try again. (The exact path may vary slightly depending on your device).

Reminder:

If you frequently encounter this issue, we strongly recommend setting up Google Authenticator for a more stable verification experience. For instructions, please refer to: About 2-Factor Authenticator
